The Town of Fayette Municipal Court has jurisdiction over misdemeanor offenses that occur within the city limits. These include but are not limited to:
- Certain criminal offenses punishable by a fine of $500 or less
- Juvenile offenses
- Parking offenses
- Traffic offenses
- Violations of city ordinances
